Pakistan all set to start the fourth LNG terminal

Pakistan is seen as a big growth market for the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry as plans are afoot to set up the fourth terminal in the country.

According to the details, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi while sharing the news on social media said that the fourth LNG terminal will be set up in Pakistan, this terminal will be set up in Port Qasim and the project will be completed in two years.

‘After Energas, Tabeer Energy (Mitsubishi) also close to finalizing their FID to set up the 4th LNG Terminal in Port Qasim,’ the minister said in his tweet.

Furthermore, the federal minister said that ninety LNG cargo ships will be able to anchor at the terminal while a 24 km long pipeline will be laid for it.
