Pakistan Beats Bangladesh by 8 Wickets, Clinches T20 Series

In the second match of the three-match T20 series, Pakistan comprehensively defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets to take an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the series at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
According to the details, Bangladesh gave Pakistan a target of 109 for victory which they achieved at a loss of 2 wickets. In the second T20 match played in Dhaka, Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah won the toss and elected to bat first which did not prove to be very effective and the host team could score only 108 runs in the 20 overs.
The bowlers of the national cricket team showed excellent bowling and did not allow any batsman to stay on the crease for long.
Pakistan’s star bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi started of with the bowling spell and knocked off Bangladeshi opener Saif Hassan after which Bangladesh wickets started falling one after the other.

For Pakistan, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi got two wickets each while Wasim Jr., Muhammad Nawaz and Haris Rauf got one wicket each.
In the second innings, Pakistan achieved the target in 18.1 overs at a loss of 2 wickets. Captain Babar Azam was dismissed for just one run after which Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan formed a good partnership. Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 39 while Fakhar Zaman (57) and Haider Ali (6) remained unbeaten.

It may be recalled that in the first T20 played yesterday, Pakistan had won by 4 wickets after a thrilling contest. The first T20 player of the match was fast bowler Hassan Ali who took 3 wickets by giving 22 runs.
Pakistan has a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The two teams will play their last T20 match on November 22, 2021 in Dhaka, followed by a two match Test series.
