Pakistan breaks new records of COVID-19?

Baaghi TV has learnt that there is a steady increase in COVID-19 cases, during the third wave, across Pakistan. 

According to reports, the National Command & Operation Center (NCOC) has confirmed 63 deaths and 4,368 new cases. Meanwhile, there is an estimate of more than 4,000 cases reported in the last nine months, alone.

The total number of active cases is confirmed to be 40,120 meanwhile, 591,145 patients have reportedly recovered since the outbreak last year. According to the NCOC, 2,558 patients are critical. Additionally, provincial statistics show Punjab with highest mortality rate of 6,142 deaths while, most reported cases is also credited to Punjab with 277,767 cases.

Moreover, Pakistan has initiated the second phase of its country-wide vaccination drive, during which, people over the ages of 60 years are being inoculated in centers set up for the purpose.
