Defence Minister Parvez Khattak Denies Secret Talks with TTP

NOWSHERA, September 13 (Online Int’l): Defence Minister Pervez Khattak has said that Pakistan is committed to bring peace in Afghanistan.

According to media reports while addressing a public gathering in Nowshera, he termed the resumption of Intra-Afghan dialogue a good omen for the region. He said peace in Afghanistan is vital for the prosperity of Pakistan.

Speaking about national issues, Pervez Khattak said the corrupt and the looters of national wealth will held accountable. He said the Prime Minister will neither compromise on the matter of accountability nor give NRO to the opposition.

The Defence Minister said the country has come out of the financial crisis and now the government has focused provision of relief to the people. Pervez Khattak said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan will honour all pledges made with the people.
