Pakistan conveys India schedule for 2nd meeting on Kartarpur Corridor .

Pakistan has conveyed to India the 2nd schedule of meeting on opening of Kartarpur corridor on Pakistani side of Wagah border.

According to reports of Baahitv, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has conveyed to India the tentative dates of meeting between Indian and Pakistani officials to finalize the draft on border management and technical issues between two sides. The Indian side has conveyed the tentative dates of July 11-14 for this meeting  but now, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has confirmed the date of July 14, 2019 for the meeting between two sides to finalize draft modalities and technical issues related to Kartarpur Corridor.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan announced last November that Pakistan desires to open Kartarpur Corridor for Sikh pilgrims on 550th birth anniversary of finder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Singh. The Kartarpur corridor will connect Gurdawa Dera Baba Nanak in Indian Punjab with Gurdawara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan
