ISLAMABAD June 9, 2021: Pakistan has crossed the milestone of vaccinating 10 million people, Asad Umar said, adding that the target is to vaccinate 70 million people by December.
According to details, Pakistan has completed its target of vaccinating 10 million people. A ceremony was held at the National Command and Operations Center on the completion of 10 million vaccinations.
Speaking on the occasion, Asad Omar, head of the NCOC, said that by December, the target of 70 million people to be vaccinated, about 3.5 million people are registering daily. Asad Omar said that due to the sanctions, the effects of corona have been reduced, appealed to the people to participate more in the Pakistani vaccine campaign, to eradicate corona as well as save people’s jobs. “People cooperated in the fight against corona, people worked hard and people co-operated in the fight against corona. We need to speed up the vaccination process,” he added.
