On the occasion of 23rd March, Pakistan Resolution Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm all over Pakistan.
The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital. On this occasion, the soldiers of Pakistan Army chanted slogans of “Long live Pakistan”. The day also started with salute of 21 cannons in Lahore garrison. The Peshawar garrison also fired 21 artillery shells in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. The day started with a salute of 21 cannons in Quetta Cantt.
A prestigious guard change ceremony was held at Mazar-e-Iqbal, Lahore. Special guests on the occasion were Air Vice Marshal Nadeem Akhtar Khan, Air Officer Commanding PAF Airman Academy, Korangi Creek. The guests laid flowers at Mazar-e-Iqbal and offered Fateha. The well-armed contingent of the Air Force saluted the poet of the East and assumed protective duties.
The Pakistani nation prostrated before Allah Almighty and prayed for the survival and security of the country, according to reports. Additionally, fateha prayers were offered in the mosques for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Tehreek-e-Pakistan.
On the other hand, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), today’s Pakistan Day celebrations have been postponed for two days due to inclement weather conditions. The celebrations will now be held on March 25th.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah visited the shrine of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the occasion of Pakistan Day. Upon arrival, CM Sindh was received by Cabinet members, Chief Secretary, IG Police and other officers. Cabinet members Imtiaz Sheikh, Syed Owais Shah, Ejaz Jakhrani, Shabir Bijarani, Shehla Raza and others were also present.
