Pakistan has categorically rejected “baseless, misleading and highly irresponsible” remarks made by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, accusing New Delhi of resorting to habitual denial and diversionary tactics aimed at concealing its own subversive activities in the region and beyond.
In a press statement responding to media queries, Pakistan’s FO spokesperson said that India’s track record of sponsoring terrorism and violence on Pakistani soil is well documented and internationally recognized: from supporting attacks on civilian infrastructure—including school buses and passenger trains—to financing sabotage operations and sheltering terrorists. The evidence of India’s destabilising designs, the statement argued, is epitomised by the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian intelligence operative convicted in Pakistan for espionage and terrorism.
The statement added that no amount of propaganda or diversion can obscure India’s ongoing efforts to subvert regional peace. Pakistan reaffirmed that it will continue to expose these activities and stands resolutely against any attempts to undermine its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Foreign Office underscored that India should cease its habitual blame-game and instead reflect on its own record of destabilising the region through state-sponsored subversion, human-rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and extraterritorial provocations.
