Lahore (13th July, 2019): International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) issues verdict to verify penalties against Pakistan, confirms Pakistan must pay US $5.84 Billion.
The International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) has issued a statement confirming the decisions and penalties against Pakistan. The government of Pakistan has also confirmed Baaghi TV’s reports to be accurate. According to details, the ICSID has confirmed the heavy penalty of $4.7 billion has been imposed on Pakistan due to the negligence of former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Iftikhar Chaudhry.

On the other hand, government officials including Prime Minister Imran Khan, have also established that Baaghi TV’s reporting s authentic, stating that the fine has been imposed because of the negligent attitude of former CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry. The penalty imposed is 4.7 billion US dollars.
