Pakistan beat Cambodia 1-0 to register first win in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers history in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Harun Hamid scored the winning goal for Pakistan in the 67th minute of the match.

The first half between the two teams ended without a goal, in the 24th minute of the second half, the Pakistani players got an opportunity which Haroon Hamid took full advantage of and sent the ball into the opponent’s net with a brilliant left kick.

In the rest of the time, the Pakistani players not only defended well but also attacked the Cambodian goal from time to time, the match ended in a 1-nil victory for Pakistan, making a new history of Pakistan football.

Pakistan will face Saudi Arabia in the second round of the Football World Cup Qualifiers
