On the third day of the first Test match between Pakistan and West Indies in Kingston, Pakistan scored 160 runs on the loss of 5 wickets in their second innings and has a 124-run lead over West Indies.

Imran Butt and Abid Ali started the second innings for Pakistan. Imran Butt returned to the pavilion without a scoring run while Abid Ali scored 34 and Azhar Ali 23 runs. Fawad Alam also got out without scoring a run while Mohammad Rizwan played an innings of 30 runs.

At the end of the third day’s play, Pakistan had scored 160 runs for 5 wickets and had a 124-run lead over the host West Indies.

Captain Babar Azam was on the crease with 54 and Fahim Ashraf with 12 runs.

Earlier, West Indies bowled out for 253 in the first innings. In reply to Pakistan’s 217, West Indies resumed their first innings at 251 for eight on the third day of the match.

On the third day of the match, West Indies could add only two runs and the entire team bowled out for 251 runs. The host team had a 36-run lead against Pakistan in the first innings.

West Indies captain Craig Brathwaite (97) and Jason Holder (58) stood out, while Ruston Chase and Blackwood scored 21 and 22 runs respectively.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took four wickets and Mohammad Abbas took three wickets. Faheem Ashraf and Hassan Ali took one wicket each.
