PML-Q decides not to attend PM’s dinner

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q) has decided not to attend the dinner of the Prime Minister, but the opposition should not be happy. An important reason has come to light. A party spokesman said the leaders were not coming because of busy schedules and would vote for the government to approve the budget.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will host a dinner in honor of the members of the Assembly today. Sources say that the dinner to be held at the Prime Minister’s House will include consultations on other party matters including budget approval. The Prime Minister will hear the concerns of allies and PTI members.

The Balochistan Awami Party has decided to attend the Prime Minister’s dinner and give its full support to the government in approving the budget. Balochistan Awami Party is a coalition party of the government, a minister is also part of the cabinet. The Balochistan Awami Party had also informed the Prime Minister of its concerns over not getting another ministry in the meeting.

On the other hand, the PML-Q has decided not to attend the dinner of the Prime Minister. The PML-Q spokesperson said that the party leaders were not attending the dinner due to busy schedule. It should be noted that the federal government had formally invited the PML-Q leadership to attend the dinner.
