March 9, 2021: According to a report by Baaghi TV, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi paid an official visit to Qatar.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, on arrival at Doha Naval Base, Commander Qatar Amiri Naval Forces gave a warm welcome to Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi. On this occasion, the Guard of Honor was presented to the Admiralty in the traditional manner. The Admiral was also briefed on the capabilities of the Qatari Navy.
According to Pakistan Navy spokesman, the Naval Chief also had important meetings with the Chief of Staff and Commander of Qatar Armed Forces Air Force. Issues of mutual interest and promotion of bilateral defense cooperation were discussed during the meetings. The Naval Chief highlighted the commitment of the Pakistan Navy to ensure maritime security and peace in the region. Host officials praised the role of Pakistan Navy in ensuring maritime security in the region.
The Chief of Naval Staff also visited various naval installations in Qatar.
According to the Pakistan Navy spokesman, the Naval Chief met the Commandant of the College during his visit to Jawan Bin Jassim College and addressed the trainee officers. The visit of the Naval Chief will further enhance the relations between the two countries, especially between the navies.
