Pakistan Navy Day being celebrated with traditional zeal

Baaghi TV: September 8 is celebrated every year as Navy Day to commemorate the great performance of the Pakistan Navy in the 1965 war. On this day, the Pakistan Navy stood by the side of Pakistan’s air and ground forces and vanquished the enemy.

In the 1965 war, the Navy Force and the Air Force performed their duty of defending the homeland in full, but the day of September 8 remained in the name of the Pakistan Navy. Pakistan Navy Day is observed on September 8 in memory of the tremors inflicted on the hearts of the enemy by the Pakistan Navy during Operation Dwarka.

In his message, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that September 8 is a day to appreciate the sacrifices and spirit of the martyrs and invaders of Pakistan Navy. This day reminds us of the deeds and achievements of our forefathers.

Operation Dwarka is a great victory in our national history. The Pakistan Navy attacked the Indian port of Dwarka, destroyed the radar station and reduced the pride of the enemy to dust.

The Naval Chief said that Ghazi, the only submarine of Pakistan Navy, kept the entire Indian Navy confined in Indian ports during the war. Today, Pakistan Navy is recognized as a strong naval force in the region. He said that Pakistan Navy is working with the international navies to ensure peace and stability in world waters. In the context of CPEC, the Pakistan Navy is ready to play an important role in its growing responsibilities.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that Pakistan Navy was providing assistance in naval research as well as exploration of hydrocarbon resources at sea. Pakistan Navy officers and men express full solidarity with their Kashmiri brethren. All Pakistan Navy officers and young men are committed to defending the motherland to the last drop of blood.
