Pakistan reports four more COVID-19 deaths

Latest statistics released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) shows that over 500 people have tested positive for the Coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to reports, 582 people tested COVID-19 positive on 21st September while, 4 people lost lives (in-hospital) due to the virus in the last 24 hours. Total Active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reach 7,303 as of 22nd September.

It is to be noted that so far 36,155 tests conducted on the 21st of September with Sindh at 15,211, Punjab at 12,534, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) at 3,345, Islamabad at 3,280, Balochistan at 1,171, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) at 304, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) at 310.

So far, 293,159 people have recovered across Pakistan making it a significant count. There is no patient on ventilator in AJK & Balochistan. Additionally, 106 ventilators occupied across Pakistan out of 1,912 ventilators allocated for COVID-19.

A total of 306,886 cases detected so far with AJK at 2,550, Balochistan at 14,499, GB at 3,513, Islamabad at 16,207, KP at 37,387, Punjab at 98,487, Sindh at 134,243. According tp reports, the death toll has reached 6,424 deaths across Pakistan. Provincial statistics show Sindh at 2,463 (3 Died in hospital on 21st September), Punjab at 2,227 (1 Died in hospital on 21st September), KP at 1,258 (no death), Islamabad at 180 (no deaths), Balochistan at 145 (no deaths), GB at 82 (no deaths), AJK at 69 (no deaths).

It is to be noted that so far, 3,230,472 tests have been conducted since the outbreak, as 735 hospitals provide COVID-19 facilities to 868 patients admitted across the country.
