Lahore, 30th May: Pakistan sets a record after nearly 400,000 people got vaccinated against the coronavirus in a single day.
Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar reported on Sunday that more than 383,000 people were vaccinated in a single day on Saturday.
The minister, who is also the head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) shared the updates on his Twitter account.
Sharing that more than 7 million citizens have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Pakistan so far, Asad Umar said that a new record was set in one day yesterday.
الحمدللہ کل ایک دن میں ویکسینیشن کا نیا ریکارڈ قائم کیا گیا. کل 3 لاکھ 83 ہزار سے زائد ویکسینیشن کی گئ. اب تک 70 لاکھ سے ویکسین لگائ جا چکی ہے. رجسٹر کرنے والوں کی تعداد میں بھی مسلسل اضافہ ہو رہا ہے اور ا کروڑ 16 لاکھ 63 ہزار افراد رجسٹر ہو چکے ہیں

He tweeted, “Over 383,000 were vaccinated yesterday. So far more than 7 million have been vaccinated.”
He disclosed that the number of registrants is also steadily increasing and 11.663 million people have registered in Pakistan so far.
It is to be noted that NCOC announced on May 28, that walk-in vaccination of people aged 30 and above has started in the country.
In the NCOC meeting today it was decided to open up walk in vaccination for 30 plus from tomorrow . So if you are 30 or older and registered please go to any vaccination centre and get vaccinated

Asad Umar also announced on May 26 that registration for the COVID-19 vaccination of citizens aged 19 and above has also started in the country.
In today's NCOC meeting we decided to open up vaccination registration for all 19 years and above. This registration will start from tomorrow. So now registration will be open for the entire national population which is approved by health experts for covid vaccination
