Pakistan to Receive 13 million Vaccine Doses from Pfizer

ISLAMABAD, Jun 21 (APP):Pfizer Pakistan and BioNTech has signed an agreement with National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to provide 13 million vaccination doses to Pakistan.

Syed Muhammad Wajeehuddin, Country Manager Pfizer Pakistan, has said in a statement that we are honored to work with Pakistani government. We will supply 13 million Covid-19 Vaccination doses to Pakistan within this year as quickly as we can.

He added that Pfizer promises to help in this global health crisis by providing vaccination to the patients.

Sean Marett, Chief Business and Chief Commercial Officer at BioNTech has thanked Pakistani officials in putting trust in their vaccination in fighting the global pandemic.

Pfizer and BioNTech aim to manufacture more than three billion doses of their COVID-19 vaccine globally in total by the end of 2021, assuming updated six-dose labeling, continuous process improvements, expansion at current facilities and contingent upon adding new suppliers and contract manufacturers.
