LAHORE: Senior Sri Lankan players including Dimuth Karunaratne, Angelo Mathews and Lasith Malinga have refused to travel to Pakistan for the One Day and T20 series starting later this month.

According to sources of Baaghi TV, Sri Lankan players have refused to play in Pakistan due to security issues. The Sri Lankan cricket board is trying to convince them for the tour but, still there is no development, sources have confirmed.

Reportedly, the series includes Three One Day International and Three T20 matches. Karachi will host One Day Series whereas T20 Series will be played in Lahore. The One Day Matches are set to be played on the 27th and 29th September and the 2nd of October. On the other hand, T20 matches will be play on 5th, 7th and 9th of October.
