Islamabad has welcomed the verdict issued by International Court of Justice, in which ICJ rejected the New Delhi’s plea to acquit and released self-confessed spy Kulbhushan Jadhav on Wednesday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, addressing a news conference in Islamabad, on Wednesday said India could not achieve what it desired by going to International Court of Justice. Qureshi said, ICJ did not annul the military court verdict against spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, which is the evident of failure of India and trust on Pakistan Judicial system.
Qureshi thanked Almighty on this success and said, “We thank the Almighty who has made Pakistan victorious at the international forum.” Qureshi said Jadhav will remain in Pakistan custody and India has a right to file a review and appeal and we don’t want to made any unnecessary comment on it.
Commander Jadhav shall remain in Pakistan. He shall be treated in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. This is a victory for Pakistan. #KulbhushanVerdict
