Pakistan will be hosting World Environment Day today

June 5, 2021:ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will host World Environment Day and celebrate the completion of the target of 1 billion trees today.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce the achievements so far, new goals and important announcements. According to details, Pakistan is hosting the World Environment Day today. The main event of the World Environment Day will be held today at the Convention Center Islamabad. Preparations for the main event have been completed. The Convention Center has been decorated with plants, flowers and greens. The event will also feature cultural dances from all four provinces, with singer Abrar-ul-Haq performing a special song and congratulatory messages from the Chinese President and UN Secretary-General.

The chief guest of the event, Prime Minister Imran Khan, will address the achievements so far, new targets and important announcements in his address, while Pakistan’s first eco-friendly motorbike and electric car will be introduced at the event. The event will be attended by political and government figures, ministers, foreign ambassadors while special assistants Malik Amin Aslam and Faisal Javed will also address the function. Special Assistant Malik Amin Aslam visited the Convention Center and reviewed the preparations for the event. On the occasion, Malik Amin Aslam said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Pakistan has achieved a prominent position in the environment. Hosting is a great honor, the Prime Minister will make an important announcement today.
