Rising incidence of Islamophobia in Western countries, in Canada, a fanatical truck driver crushed a Pakistani family, the attack killed four members of the same family and seriously injured a child.

Canadian police say four members of a Muslim family have been trampled to death under a car. Police called it a hate crime. A Muslim family was attacked in London, in the southern Canadian province of Ontario. The driver of the truck hit the family on the sidewalk. Police arrested the 20-year-old attacker. Canadian Muslim organizations have called the incident a terrorist act. According to officials, the case is being considered to include terrorism provisions.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has lamented the incident, saying there is no place for Islamophobia in the country and there has been a backlash against the incident on social media. People have said they should not be told that Islamophobia does not exist in Canada.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, “For the Muslim community in London and for Muslims across the country, know that we stand with you.” Islamophobia has no place in any of our communities. This wave of hatred is despicable – and must be stopped.
