Pakistani cricketer banned from cricket
Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal reportedly banned from all cricket following disciplinary hearing held at PCB for match-fixing scandal.
Today at the PCB disciplinary panel, Umar Akmal’s case for the fixing scandal was to be heard.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Umar Akmal arrived at the National Cricket Academy to appear before the disciplinary panel. It should be noted that Umar Akmal was temporarily suspended on 20th February, 2020. Akmal was suspended under the Quantitative Corruption Code and could not take part in any cricket until the inquiry was completed.
Umar Akmal was part of the Quetta Gladiators team but was dropped after the suspension and was quickly replaced.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Umar Akmal has been handed a three-year ban from all cricket by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel, Mr. Justice (Rtd.) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan.
