Pakistani flags hoisted in Kashmir on Pakistan day

March 23, 2021: On Pakistan Day, Pakistani flags were once again hoisted in occupied Kashmir.

Baaghi TV reports that Pakistanis around the world, including across the country, are celebrating Pakistan Day with enthusiasm. On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Pakistani flags were hoisted once again in occupied Kashmir. Despite all the atrocities, pressure and greed, the Modi government could not take the love of Pakistan out of the hearts of Kashmiris. Long live Pakistan!

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, Kashmiri youths have not only waved Pakistani flags but also put up posters in different areas of the occupied valley including Srinagar on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

Pictures of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Musarat Alam Butt, Asiya Andrani, Nahida Nasreen and Fehmida Sufi were also affixed on the posters.

A few days ago, according to the Kashmir Media Service, the Pakistani flag was hoisted in Srinagar, the capital of occupied Kashmir, on the Republic Day of India. The Pakistani flag was hoisted at the entrance of the Jama Masjid in Srinagar. Additional Indian troops were deployed in the valley, but in their presence, Kashmiri youths hoisted the Pakistani flag.

It is to be noted that the chairperson of Dakhtan Millat Syeda Asiya Andrabi has been imprisoned in Delhi since 2017. She has been arrested by the Modi government on a charge of treason for carrying the flag of Pakistan and chanting slogans of Pakistan Zinda Baaz. Asiya Andrabi sang the national anthem of Pakistan in Kashmir and waved the Pakistani flag.

Later that year, on Pakistan’s Independence Day, the Chairperson of the Daughters of the Nation waved the Pakistani flag at a ceremony. On September 12, 2015, freedom fighter Syeda Asiya Andrabi slaughtered a cow and released a video of the beef in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Qasim Fakto, husband of Syeda Asiya Andrabi, is also serving a life sentence.

Hurriyat leader Musarat Alam has been in jail since 2010. He has not been released despite a court order. The Indian government has arrested him after banning Yasin Malik’s party.

Pakistan Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm all over Pakistan. The day started with a salute of 31 cannons in the federal capital. On this occasion, soldiers of Pakistan Army chanted slogans of “Long live Pakistan”. The day also started with salute of 21 cannons in Lahore garrison. The Peshawar garrison also fired 21 artillery shells in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. The day started with a salute of 21 cannons in Quetta Cantt.

In his message on Pakistan Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that today we pledge to make Pakistan an economically strong and prosperous country and to uphold democratic values, rule of law and Islamic way of life in accordance with the vision of the founders. He said resolution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant Security Council resolutions is key for lasting peace in South Asia.
