A Lahore-based rickshaw driver provides emergency transport services to patients and families in need amid growing cases of COVID-19.

According to a video posted by UrduPoint, a Lahore-based rickshaw driver, Jamaat Ali, is providing free-of-charge rides to patients in need of transport during the spread of the Coronavirus across Pakistan.

The rickshaw driver has reportedly taken the initiative in honor of his parents. Despite being poor himself, Jammat Ali who is one of 2 children, is focused on spreading smiles around by providing emergency ambulance services by means of his rickshaw to patients and other people in need.

Jamaat Ali, who is above all else, a humanitarian, hopes to help his society in any ways possible. In an exclusive conversation with UrduPoint, he discussed his aspirations of growing his rickshaw-ambulance service so no patients would be left without help.

Always passionate, the Lahore-based rickshaw driver hopes to help many people during the ongoing pandemic. Reportedly having suffered from mild symptoms of the disease himself, Ali has not given up on his charitable initiative as he hopes to pass it on as sadqa-e-jariah for his parents.
