Pakistani nationals arrested for smuggling
Lahore, 15th June: In a counter-narcotics operation in the central province of Paktika, Afghanistan police have arrested two Pakistani nationals for smuggling weapons and ammunition.
According to reports, Afghanistan’s anti-narcotics personnel conducted a series of targeted operations in Sharana, the capital of Paktika province, on Tuesday.
During the raid, two Pakistani nationals were arrested in connection with the smuggling of arms and ammunition.
Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior Affairs shared the news on its Twitter handle:

The ministry wrote, “Anti-narcotics police officers have arrested two Pakistani nationals for smuggling ‘weapons and ammunition’ in a targeted operation in central Paktika province.”

It added, “Counter-narcotics personnel conducted a series of targeted operations in Sharana, the capital of Paktika province, during which two Pakistani nationals were arrested in connection with arms and ammunition smuggling.”
