The Pakistani rupee has gained strength due to the government’s efforts to combat black market activities, resulting in a significant decline in the US dollar’s value in the interbank market on Thursday, as reported by 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to information provided by forex dealers, the local currency has surged by a substantial Rs2.48 against the US dollar and is currently being traded at Rs304.50.

On the previous day, the Pakistani rupee experienced a modest recovery against the US dollar, settling at Rs306.98 in the interbank market. By the close of the day, the rupee had risen by 12 paisas or 0.04%.
