Pakistani writer, Bina Shah, has reportedly appreciated the efforts of the nation following the ill-fated Karachi plane crash prior to Eid.

According to reports, the writer took to social networking website to address the issue. The Pakistani writer and New York Times columnist, who is author of the book Before She Sleeps, tweeted that the people who had witnessed the accident had “rushed in to try to help – regardless of coronavirus, regardless of the fact that they were fasting in the heat. This is Pakistan.”

Shah went on to say that although the Pakistan is usually portrayed for tragedy and sacrifice, heroism and corruption in the media, Pakistan is truly a country which cannot be placed in a set box.
