According to reports of The Express, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has refused to bring a 6 billion program on track, without implementation, on rising electricity and gas prices and tax-related terms. However, talks are underway with the IMF to complete a second review, but the second review will not be completed until December.
Responsible sources in the finance ministry said that talks were underway with the IMF on a second economic review to get it back on track. For this, the Ministry of Finance, along with the IMF, is constantly sharing data.
Efforts are being made to get the program back on track with the IMF as soon as possible, and to complete the second review and receive the next tranche of the loan from the IMF, but the second wave of COVID-19 has made things difficult.
