Palestinians protest against desecration of cemetery
Palestine, 11th June: Palestinians protest against the desecration of a cemetery by Jews, reports say.
Jewish settlers in the central Palestinian city of Jaffa and the Israeli administration have uprooted graves in a historic cemetery and desecrated a cemetery. There are protests all over.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, hundreds of Palestinians came out of their homes to protest the criminal and systematic desecration of a cemetery in Jaffa by Israeli police and Jewish settlers.
Local Palestinians say the Zionist administration has uprooted graves in a local cemetery in al-Isaaf al-Islamiya and set up shelters to provide temporary shelter for displaced Jews in the cemetery.
Protested Israeli police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
As a result, several civilians were injured and lost consciousness.
