Lahore, 6th June: According to the report of Baaghi TV, renowned anchorperson Mubashar Lucman revealed in his latest video that the pandemic which started in 2019 in China spread late in Pakistan and now the situation is such that every community, every department is struck with COVID-19 adversely.

Mubashar Lucman said that Yahya Jafari, the first coronavirus case of Pakistan tested positive for COVID-19 in February was from Karachi. The first case came to light on February 26. From February 26 to May 4, exactly one month ago, there were 21,000 patients and about 440 people died of the disease.

Lucman reveals that there is a sudden increase in the coronavirus cases now and the number has increased to about 87 thousand and about 1800 deaths. In just one month, the number of patients has increased to about 65 thousand.

Lucman added that the number of cases of local travelers has increased in Pakistan. In February and March, the influx of people from abroad and the gathering of Tablighi Jamaat caused the spread of the epidemic in the country. But later due to local relocation, the number of patients has become very high.

Mubashar Lucman further said that despite the closure of schools in Pakistan, the epidemic is spreading among children, especially those under 10 years of age. More than 900 children are diagnosed with the coronavirus now.

Lucman clearly indicates that the reason for the rapid spread of the pandemic is the failure of our government’s policy and the unserious attitude of the people. The Prime Minister stressed that the spread of Corona will not stop and we will have to live with it.

He ordered to restore the business activities due to poverty among our poor class.PM Khan said that we should rely on ourselves to deal with the pandemic and announced a relaxation of the lockdown on May 7.

Lucman further said that till May 20, Prime Minister Imran Khan had reiterated that poverty was becoming more concerning and serious than the pandemic and therefore lockdown would have to be softened.

The Supreme Court also took stern notice of the closure of shopping malls and business activities in the country and ordered their reinstatement. Then people took advantage of the restoration on Eid and went shopping on top of each other.

According to the famous anchor, the result of all this was that the people did not take the virus seriously, and thought that nothing would happen to them. The consequences of which led to the spike in the number of cases at the end of May.

Mubashar Lucman added that in the last four days of May, 283 deaths were recorded after the Eid holidays, while the last time the NCOC meeting on May 30 reported that the pandemic in Pakistan will reach its peak on May 15.

In a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister in the first week of April, Asad Umar and Zafar Mirza said that the daily test facility would be increased to 25,000 to 30,000 by the beginning of May, while official figures show that no more than 16,000 tests were conducted in Pakistan on any given day.

Mubashar Lucman further said that in Pakistan the condition of our hospitals is such that beds and ventilators are not available to the people now just think how our health sector will handle patients when the pandemic goes on the rise.

Mubashar Lucman ends his video on a serious message that there is a need for us to protect ourselves from this virus. People are dying daily due to COVID-19, so people need to take it seriously and observe the safety measures strictly.
