Parliament in Armenia turned into a battleground

10th November 2020: Armenia’s parliament has become a battleground.

According to the Baaghi TV report, a commotion broke out in the Armenian parliament. There was an uproar in the parliament when the members of parliament protested in front of the government and opposition parties said that Azerbaijan had surrendered.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani army has achieved considerable military success in gaining its territory from Armenia and hence, the Armenian army has had to retreat.

Armenia has acknowledged defeat in the month-and-a-half-long war over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and announced its withdrawal from the occupation of Karabakh.

On the other hand, the six-week-long war between Azerbaijan and Armenia came to a halt after the Russian intervention when the two countries signed a peace agreement. Russia has deployed its peacekeepers in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
