Passport, credit card, contact details of 45 Lakh flyers Leaked

India: A massive data breach has been reported from Air India over the span of 10 years. The cyberattack on Air India customers came between August 26, 2011, and February 3, 2021 and targeted 45 lakh flyers.

In a decade long data breach, name, date of birth, contact information, passport info, ticket info, Star Alliance and Air India frequent flyer data and credit cards data have been leaked, ANI quoted Air India reveling this information. It however, said no passwords data has been affected.
