PBC announces countrywide strike

The officials of the Pakistan Bar Council announced a nationwide judicial strike on September 9 while holding a press conference in the Supreme Court

Officials of the Pakistan Bar Council said in a press conference that no lawyer will appear in any court on September 9, the Lawyers Protection Bill should be implemented immediately.

By presenting the position of his client in the court, action should be taken against the judges on whom references have been filed, the nominated Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa is demanded to take action on the references.

Chairman of Pakistan Bar Council Executive Committee Hasan Raza Pasha said that according to the constitution, the elections should be announced within 90 days, the President should announce the date of the general elections, the President should not consult anyone, forced disappearances should be ended. , the privileges enjoyed by the army, judges and the civil bureaucracy should be immediately abolished.
