PCB forbids Saqlain Mushtaq to run a YouTube channel

Monday, Aug 24th: The PCB has banned Saqlain Mushtaq, Head of International Players Development, from the High Performance Center under the Ethics Code and Social Media, from running a YouTube channel.

The Pakistan Cricket Board aims to ensure implementation of social media policy and ethics code. Cricket Board has informed all coaches, central the cricketers and officials involved in the contract in this regard. According to the sources, Saqlain Mushtaq has 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube. The board declared it a conflict of interest and stopped him from running YouTube three days ago. The board is of the view that all officials are equal. No one can be discounted.
