PCB Issues Statement Concerning Cricket Committee

Lahore (20th June, 2019): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a statement on the composition of the Cricket Committee.

According to Baaghi TV’s report, former Test Cricketer, Mohsin Khan, claims he is willing to resign from his position as Chairman PCB Cricket Committee. The decision has been accepted by Ehsan Mani, Chairman PCB.

Mohsin Khan, “I am very thankful to PCB Chairman Mr Ehsan Mani for honouring me with the opportunity to Chair the PCB Cricket Committee”, he continued, “My services are always available for Pakistan cricket at a suitable position in view of my past record.”

Moreover, it has been decided that PCB Managing Director, Mr. Wasim Khan, will now be taking over the position of Chairman PCB Cricket Committee. It is also expected that PCB Cricket Committee will review the Pakistan cricket team’s performance for the last three years before they submit recommendations for the Board of Governors’ consideration.

Ehsan Mani, Chairman PCB, concerning the former’s decision to step down from the position of Chairman Cricket Committee has stated, “we respect his decision.” He further continued to say, “I am thankful to Mohsin for his contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors.”
