PCB, POA Haven for the Corrupt, Incompetent?

Lahore: “The PCB and Pakistan Olympic Association are a haven for corrupt and incompetent people. Why is NAB not taking any notice?” asks senior Pakistani Analytical Journalist Mubasher Lucman.

The journalist has a wealth of experience in analyzing and observing the political, social, defense, and economic fields of the nation, and as such cannot remain silent as these institutions walk down the path of destruction. He wishes to see Pakistan thrive in sports fields.

Perhaps that is why whenever such important issues arise the situation is taken directly to the people. In this regard, Mubasher Lucman has chosen to direct the people’s eyes to a problem that is linked to the nation’s dignity.

Mubashar Lucman has stated that he is disappointed in the PCB and the Pakistan Olympic Association, two organizations representing Pakistan on an international level. The nation is spending significant capital on these institutions and as such, he wants to see them succeed. “These institutions have become a haven for corruption and inefficient people, and they are the ones who represent Pakistan globally,” he says.

“However anyone feels, I am deeply saddened that the PCB and POA have become parking lots for corrupt and defunct people,” he says. “On this instance, NAB should notice how national interest and dignity are being played with personal interests.”

On the social networking site Twitter, he says in another tweet, that the PCB is claiming that the PSL Franchises are not happy with the Kashmir Premier League (KPL). However, Wasim Akram is Karachi Kings’ president and the vice president of the KPL, and as such, the PCB’s statement doesn’t add up, he wrote.

“It’s not surprising and a matter of worry that on the one hand, a star of Pakistan like Wasim Akram is the president of Karachi Kings and vice president of the Kashmir Premier League,” says Mubasher Lucman. “One should say that they (PCB) should not be happy with the holding of the Kashmir Premier League.”

He said that if institutions like PCB spread indecency and frustration, then where will the common folk go. As such, NAB needs to get to action so that the aspirations of 230 million Pakistanis and their prayers are not killed. The whole country wishes to see Pakistan succeed on a global level.
