According to a report by Baaghi TV, PCB reportedly treated the scorers of Lahore and Central Punjab unjustly.
With the transfer of domestic and international events from Lahore, the scorers are facing difficulties. The PCB deploys umpires and match referees from all over the country. The PCB prefers local scorers in domestic and international matches.
In the current season, all the matches of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy First and Second XI are scheduled in Karachi. Due to Pakistan-Zimbabwe three T20 matches, the under-19 ODI matches were shifted from Lahore. The board also shifted the under-19 three-day matches from Lahore due to smog.
Against Zimbabwe, three T20 and the last four PSL matches have been shifted from Lahore. The fee for scorers first class, second eleven and under 19 matches is Rs. 7,000 per day. International and PSL daily fee is 10 thousand rupees.
Eight Lahore scorers Azhar Hussain, Zahoor Alam, Waris Bashir are on the PCB panel. Waqar Ahmed, Kazim Hussain, Najam Al Saeed, Sajid Usman and Muhammad Arif are the board panel scorers. The scorers are facing financial difficulties as they move from Lahore to domestic and international events.
