PDM chief accepts resignations from PPP and ANP

Lahore, 28th April: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has accepted the resignations of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP).

According to reports, the PDM chief on Wednesday accepted the resignations put by PPP and ANP leader from all posts of the opposition alliance.

While reshuffling the PDM, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has appointed Hafiz Hamdullah as the new Information Secretary.

Earlier Mian Iftikhar from ANP was appointed at this post.

Maulana Fazl had requested the PPP and ANP leaders on Monday to reconsider their resignations from all posts of PDM.
