The Punjab government, on allegations of blocking the way for PML-N leaders, has brought forwarded the agreement with the opposition. The agreement reportedly has the signatures of PML-N leaders, Pervez Malik and Khawaja Imran Nazir, while Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassir Riaz and DIG Operations have also signed on behalf of the administration.

It was agreed in the agreement that Maryam Nawaz will reach Bati Chowk via Ada Plot Interchange from Jati Amira. Due to security concerns, Ada Plot Interchange will remain closed for all interchange traffic except Niazi Shaheed. PML-N has decided in the agreement that the rest of the routes should be kept closed in view of the security of the route. Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat said that the claim of PML-N to block roads in Lahore was wrong.

On the other hand, preparations for the PDM’s Gujranwala meeting have been completed at Jinnah Stadium. An 80 feet long and 24 feet wide stage has been prepared for the leaders to sit in the stadium. Lights have been installed in the stadium.
