People themselves have to catch the accused for the police: Iqar ul Hassan

Karachi: According to reports, well-known journalist Iqar ul Hassan while talking about the motorway incident said that it is a strange thing that the people themselves have to avoid rape and the accused has to be caught by the people which later is to be given to the police.

According to reports, on the social networking site Twitter, while expressing regret over the motorway abuse case, Iqrar ul Hassan said!

بات یہ ہے کہ سی سی پی او صاحب کے مطابق آپ نے ریپ سے بچنا بھی خود ہی ہے اور “ملزم فرار ہونے کی اطلاع دینے کے لئے منعقدہ پریس کانفرنس” کے مطابق اگر ایسا سانحہ ہو جائے تو ملزم بھی آپ ہی نے پکڑ کر دینے ہیں۔ سو سب سے درخواست ہے کہ اِن درندوں کو انجام تک پہنچانے میں پولیس کی مدد کیجئے۔ pic.twitter.com/96rqqUnl5g

The point is that according to the CCPO, you have to avoid rape yourself and according to the “press conference held to report the escape of the accused”, if such a tragedy occurs, you have to catch the accused yourself.

Iqar ul Hassan says that so everyone is requested to help the police in bringing these beasts to an end.
