ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that petrol prices are the lowest in Pakistan.

According to reports, Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister of Information, said on Twitter, a social networking site, that the spike in oil prices in the worldwide market is causing concern.

Fawad Chaudhry said that there was no choice but to increase the prices of petroleum products.
It may be mentioned that the government has approved an increase of Rs 5.40 per liter in the price of petrol. The new prices will be applicable from 12 noon tonight.

According to the announcement, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 5.40 per liter, after which the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 118.9 per liters 2.54 per liter, after which the price of high speed diesel has been fixed at Rs 116.53 per liter, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 1.39 per liter. 

The price of high speed diesel has been increased by Rs 2.54 per liter, after which the price of high speed diesel has been fixed at Rs 116.53 per liter, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 1.39 per liter.

According to the announcement, the price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs 87.14 per liter, the price of light diesel has been increased by Rs 1.27 per liter, the price of light diesel has been fixed at Rs 4.67 per liter.
