Petroleum prices likely to drop: OGRA

Islamabad (30th Nov, 2019): Prices of petroleum products likely to go down starting December. 

According to Baaghi TV’s sources, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reportedly worked out a summary about the likely reduction in petroleum product prices. As per the summary, recommendations have been made to scale down the prices by an approximate 25 paisas per liter.

Moreover, the reduction of nearly 83 paisas per liter for kerosene oil and and almost Rs. 2.90 per liter for diesel has been proposed in the summary by OGRA, as confirmed by sources. The summary has been forwarded to the Petroleum Division. Sources confirm that the Finance Ministry will be making the final decision concerning the matter, after consultation from the Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

Additionally, the new price are likely to come in effect starting from the 1st of December, 2019.
