ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) cabin crew has disappeared in Toronto, Canada on July 5, 2020 (Sunday).

According to details, PIA cabin crew member, Yasir, was found missing from his hotel, after arriving in Toronto on a PIA flight PK-781 from Islamabad. Moreover, the Canadian immigration has imposed visa restrictions on Pakistani passport holders due to which the crew needs to get a visa to operate flights to Canada.

According to sources, the national carrier administration has taken notice of the disappearance of the flight attendant.

A few years back another flight attendant of the PIA namely Fareeha had disappeared in Toronto, Canada on PIA flight PK-789 from Lahore. She boarded the flight from Lahore to Canada but never boarded the return flight.

Moreover, the United States (US) has also suspended flight operations with Pakistan due to the fake licenses scandal. As a result, the national carrier management is planning to hire a lobbying firm which will cost millions of rupees.

The PIA management will decide in a day or two whether to hire the firm or not.
