ISLAMABAD: Flights of national airline PIA failed to return to normal with fifty-nine national and international flights being canceled in one day.

PIA administration provided fuel for eight international flights. Meanwhile, 17 flights to Karachi, 18 to Islamabad, and 3 to Lahore were canceled.

Two flights each to Quetta, Dubai, Sukkur, and Turbat were canceled. Two flights from Lahore to Sharjah, Dubai, and Jeddah were also canceled. One to Dammam and one to Dubai, while two flights from Sialkot to Sharjah were canceled.

The canceled flights from Islamabad also include flights to Dubai, Jeddah, Gilgit, and Skardu. Two flights to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh and one to Doha were also canceled. Flights departing from Multan and Muscat were also canceled.

A total of Rs 10 crore was paid for fuel supply to PSO. The number of canceled flights reached 597 during the last 12 days.
