According to a Baaghi TV report, Saudi Arabia allowed the PIA 13 special flights instead of 28. However, they stipulated that only 66% of the passengers would be brought to the flights under social distance.
Permission for fewer flights and allowing only 66% of passengers has created problems for the people. The PIA and the Ministry of Aviation also sought the help of the Foreign Ministry to talk to Saudi officials and either allow more flights or extend their stay to reduce the suffering of the people.
According to a Baaghi TV report, a PIA spokesman said that PIA was operating regular flights to Saudi Arabia, but as most of the stays were ending on September 30, there was an unusual rush.

In view of the matter, the PIA had sought permission for 28 more flights from September 15, in addition to the regular flights. However, only 13 flights were allowed by the Saudi authorities and it was also stipulated not to bring more than 66% of the people to maintain the social distance.

The PIA administration and the aviation minister have also sought the help of the foreign ministry to talk to Saudi officials about either allowing more flights or extending their stay.
