PIA issues a Safety Alert, restricts Cabin Crew members from Fasting during Ramadan

According to the reports, PIA has restricted its cabin crew members, the pilot, and all the staff from fasting during the month of Ramadan. PIA has issued a safety alert for the members according to which the captain and first officer including the staff should not fast.

A notification has been issued by Chief of Flight Operations Capt. Arshad Khan  in this regard.

The notification issued states that fasting cabin crew members will not be allowed to go with the flight. They will have to inform the administration in advance. The captain and first officer of the Boeing 777, Airbus 320 and ATR aircraft will mandatorily implement the notification.
