PIA issues show cause notice to GS PALPA, Capt Narejo

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued a show cause notice to the General Secretary (GS) of the Pakistan Airlines Pilots’ Association (PALPA) for violating the policy.

According to details, PIA’s Human Resource Department has issued a show cause notice to PALPA  General Secretary Imran Narejo.

The text of the notice said that Imran Narejo had instructed the PIA pilots to go on strike, adding that the pilot’s strike in April had harmed the PIA.

Criminal pilots involved in the downfall of PIA

A show cause notice is being issued for violation of Employees Disciplinary Policy 2019. Under the policy, there is a law of strict action on the directive of others to go on strike.

Under the policy, the national carrier management has taken strict action against those who are responsible.The notice states that within seven days, the show cause should come and respond in person. The administration has the right to take action if it does not respond within the stipulated time.

Captain Imran Narejo has been summoned to respond by June 30.
