PIA's Karachi to Islamabad flight forced to make emergency landing

Flight schedule for the United Kingdom (UK) has been prepared by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), after the removal of Pakistan from the red list.

Reports suggest that the flight schedule has 32 flights arranged to the UK from September 22 to October 30. The schedule will be followed for the flights leaving Lahore and Islamabad only.

PIA has planned 7 flights to the UK between September 22 and 29, while PIA has finalized a schedule of 25 flights to the UK in October.

UK Likely To Remove Pakistan From Red List

CEO PIA, Arshad Malik, has directed the arrangements for the flight plan UK himself. It should be also noted that the British government has announced to remove Pakistan from the red list by changing the traffic light system.

In view of the situation regarding the coronavirus, the UK has removed eight countries, including Pakistan, from the red list. This decision will be effective from September 22, 2021.

The British government also announced to change the traffic light system from red, amber and green list to red list, according to which Pakistan’s name is in the red list. Those going to the UK from red lost countries will not need a 10-day quarantine at the hotel.
