PIA receives UAE's clarification regarding ICA approval

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has received an explanation from the authorities for passengers traveling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the details, every passenger who lands at any airport in the UAE will have to check the ICA approval. ICA approval requirements can be found on the website uaeentry.ica.gov.ae.

Earlier, a directive was issued by the Abu Dhabi authorities revoking ICA approval. However, during the last two days, passengers were banned from boarding PIA and Airblue flights without ICA approval.

As a result, a large number of passengers had to get off the plane, which caused severe damage to the airlines and caused great inconvenience to the passengers. Sources say that the PIA administration used its own resources in the UAE to clarify the instructions.

The guidelines apply to passengers traveling to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain.

All passengers are requested to check the need for ICA approval before arriving at the airport from the website mentioned above, the national carrier spokesperson said. If approval is required, transfer your tickets to the next flight immediately, he added.
