PIA starts booking for special domestic flights

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started booking for the special domestic flight operations amid the coronavirus epidemic.

As per the details, the first flight will leave Karachi for Lahore tomorrow at 1 pm while the second flight will leave Lahore for Karachi at 4 pm.

According to PIA spokesman, more flights are being scheduled and will be released shortly.

Aviation Division releases domestic flight schedules

As per the schedule issued by Aviation Division, 68 flights will be operated at Karachi airport while 32 flights each at Lahore and Islamabad airports per week. Moreover, Quetta airport will be operating 8 flights and 4 flights will be operated at Peshawar airport on weekly basis.

It is to be remembered that only PIA and SereneAir have been allowed to operate flights under these circumstances.

CAA issued a notification regarding domestic flight services

Due to the lockdown in Pakistan, it has been decided to give relief to the people who are unable to travel to their cities due to coronavirus lockdown. Therefore, domestic flight operations have been partially resumed to facilitate people before Eid ul Fitr.
